The second Manatawny 5k features a mix of road, field and cinder trail running with moderate hills.  The start of the race will be in front of the main building of Camp Manatawny, Garrett Hall.  After starting on a paved surface, runners will then run straight behind the camp's pool, and run around a field to the south of the main camp area.  Runners will then run back to a road for a brief period of time before taking a lap around the main athletic field of the camp, Trammell Field.  In a change from last year, the course will head to the orchard on a cinder trail.  After running past the newly installed climbing wall and zipline, runners head to Camp Road along another cinder trail.  Runners will then turn right onto Camp Road and run to a farm at the northern end of the road.  Runners then head south for almost a mile before turning around again, with modest hills along the way.  After another turn around, runner will turn right and pass the RV sites.  Runners will run in front of Garrett Hall and re-cross the start line, then back on the main road of camp as they finish the race running past cabins as they finish up by the office and canteen.

There will be plenty of signs and volunteers helping you find your way around this course.  The course is laid out so you will pass by other participants frequently, so don't be afraid to encourage others as you are running or walking!
